Kill Those Cookies Watching You
You've heard about cookies on your computer - when you visit a website, the site can put down it's own as well as third party cookies on your computer which records what you do on the Internet. This can be useful for delivering targeted advertising to you. You do need some cookies to be active on some sites you visit but you can get rid of those third party cookies that you are not aware of and haven't invited in to your cyber space!
Here's a solution (from PC Magazine):
Internet Explorer 7 or 8: Select Tools>Internet Options>Privacy>Advanced>Over ride automatic cookie handling>Block third party cookies
Firefox: Select Tools>Options>Privacy>untick Accept Third Party Cookies
