Forty/40 Bowls
Bowls Victoria is trialling a new initiative, Forty/40 Twilight Bowls. Based on the hugely successful Twenty/20 cricket format, Forty/40 hopes to draw new participants to the sport with a fast paced game of lawn bowls. The concept is designed to take only 2 hours, including a meal and opportunity to socialise. The triples game is played over two sets of six ends, with each set to take 40 minutes. Power Plays and position rotation within your team is permitted. If the trial is successful, Forty/40 will be introduced for the 2010/11 season.
