Ben Twist to World Indoors
At 19 years of age, Ben Twist is technically no longer a Junior and has now progressed to the Queensland under 25 team. But the former top Junior player has shown what can be achieved in bowls with persistence, practice and ability by qualifying for the World Indoor Championships to be held in England in January 2010.
Ben will join the likes of Steve Glasson and Kelvin Kerkow as one of 6 Aussie contenders at the World Indoor. He also qualified for the World Indoor Pairs alongside Mark Casey.
